A vote for The Winning Ticket means a real and honest chance at Federal Recognition.
"CHANGING GUARD NOW WOULD BE CATASTROPHIC!"
This is a comment that has been shared with us from Washington DC, local Tribes, and recognition experts. Under the F.A.Q. tab, it explains why there are no further details about recognition given here on this website or juaneno.com.
If we change leadership now, we jeapordize the first true legitmate chance we have of becoming a federally recognized Tribe. After picking up where the last administration left off, we have taken the high road and fought our way back, regained the trust of key recognition individuals and teams and most importantly, established a fresh new relationship with the BIA that is based on mutual respect and understanding of the process. The Creator is leading us down the right path and our Ancestors are pushing for the long awaited acknowledgement. Have faith and vote The Winning Ticket!
What else will we bring to the Tribe? We've laid the ground work for a financially stable stream of revenue, our hope is 2017 will see the launch of that stream. Over last four years, we have never had to make a desparate last minute plea to make our rent payments or have services reconnected and we hope we never have to go back to that again. We have a few other ventures that will supplement our TSR to provide more and more beneficial programs, like our Back-to-School Drive
More culture! Chairwoman Romero took a trip this year to Washington DC to retrieve some culturally sensitive information and has startinh sharing the information. This information will help heal the Acjachemen and make us stronger and prepare us for recognition.
Ensure the City of San Juan Capistrano honors their word to open the park at Putuiidem and hold our first private ceremony in over 100 years!
Continue talks with all Acjachemen to build further on the open communication we started 4 years ago.
